Dean & Donna wanted a one level house. They really preferred to be out in the country too. I found one to look at in Burkittsville. This was long before the "Blair Witch" was heard of. We were in an older home (much older), talking. The front door was open and there was a nice breeze coming IN the house. Suddenly the front door slammed shut! AGAINST the wind! I thought I was joking when I told Dean & Donna that the ghost wanted them to stay. Little did I know that we would find out later that there was a ghost in the house. The ghost would occasionally move pictures around and throw things in the basement. This is why the current owners were selling. Dean & Donna decided to leave the "island" of Frederick and move to the Eastern Shore!

Episode 1 - "Lost in the Woods"
Sue & Woody had been looking for a new home in the woods for quite a while. Sue decided to let Woody look at the property before she spent her time deciding on the house. She knows that she can make the house what she wants, but if the land doesn't work for Woody, it doesn't matter what she thinks of the house.
Woody and I started off in the afternoon. The walk down the hill was very nice and pleasant. We wandered around looking at the lot, chit chatting, having a great time. Woody lead us over the hill and through the woods but Grandmother's house we never found. We didn't find the house we were looking at either. Several hours later we found a road. Not the road the house was on though. What we did find was someone that put us in the back of his pick up truck to take us back to the house (and my car). I found this all very amusing and had a great time. The best part was that the Sue & Woody felt so bad that this happened they let me use their beach house for a weekend! They still haven't found their home in the woods. Can we get lost again and so I can go back to the beach?
